YuppieScum 0 Posted February 10, 2000 Over the course of the W2K beta, and chages in my network hardware, I've created many entries in Network and Dial-up Connections. Now when I create a new connection to my ADSL box via my network card (static IP) I get a popup that says an existing connection already has that IP address... The problem is I can't find it! I've scanned the reigistry and drives - i've even created a new connection with a "silly" name and searched for that text - all to no avail. So, where does W2K store the details of each network connection entry? How can I make the existing "hidden" connections visible so I can delete them? Oh, and yes, I am an admin on this box... ------------------ SuperMicro P6DBS (dual UW-SCSI) BIOS 2.2, 2*Celery 300a @ 450Mhz, 384MB PC100 RAM SCSI-A=4.3Gb+9Gb, SCSI-B=Tosh32x CD-ROM, Yamaha4416 CD-RW, Iomega ZIP100, IDE1=4.3Gb IBM EtherJet 10/100 NIC PCI + Nortel ADSL "modem" CL TNT1 AGP + Quantum3D Voodoo2 SLI PCI SoundBlaster Live PCI (not Value) Win2K build 2195 Retail (no 120-day eval) Share this post Link to post
