Win2K DNS Problem

When I try to add additional domain controller for existing domain I found that when I try to enter the Full DNS name for existing domain this error message was appeared

 

“The domain pdo.pirmam.com could not be contacted select a different domain (if domain was recently created its name may not yet registered with the domain name service”

 

Please can you help me?

Best practice dictates that DNS servers are only referred to by IP address instead of FQDN.
