USB Hub in Win XP

Hey People;

 

I Bought a USB Hub 4 Port Non Powered (USB1.1) and i have a P3B-F mother board with WinXP. USB Works without the HUB but when the HUB is connected its detected as a Generic HUB and it tells me nothing is connected to it. So can anyone help me fix this problem ??

Is anything physically connected to the hub?

 

If so, then your motherboard likely cannot power the hub, you will need a self-powered hub.
