Mordrid 0 Posted February 10, 2000 Any Matrox G400 users out there having any problems with GL in Win2K? I heard D3D works great, but GL games like Quake3 won't run. I'd REALLY like to make the move back to Win2K. I'm running Win98SE now after upgrading from the TnT2 to the G400. I figured I wouldn't take any chances. On a side note, very impressed with the G400. MUCH better picture quality than the TNT2's, with the same (and in some cases more) speed. -Dj Share this post Link to post
YuppieScum 0 Posted February 10, 2000 The existing G400 W2K drivers from Matrox suck. I have a G400 sitting on a shelf, because it's slower than my TNT1 under W2K. You'll just have to live with it until Matrox get their sh1t together... ------------------ SuperMicro P6DBS (dual UW-SCSI) BIOS 2.2, 2*Celery 300a @ 450Mhz, 384MB PC100 RAM SCSI-A=4.3Gb+9Gb, SCSI-B=Tosh32x CD-ROM, Yamaha4416 CD-RW, Iomega ZIP100, IDE1=4.3Gb IBM EtherJet 10/100 NIC PCI + Nortel ADSL "modem" CL TNT1 AGP + Quantum3D Voodoo2 SLI PCI SoundBlaster Live PCI (not Value) Win2K build 2195 Retail (no 120-day eval) Share this post Link to post
