bickeler 0 Posted November 17, 2004 Hi, I have several of these HP 3100i DVD-rws they are 1.5x/2.5x/20x and use the SCSI interface.They were made by HP in 1999 and never sold at all. I can get this to read Cds and DVDs in 2k/XP/2k3 but not write as they are not seen as writers by any program.I was able to burn under Linux though in Linux it was seen as a writer. Anyway to get Windows to see these as writers as there is no firmware(Obviously.).And the original product was supposed to be sold with Adaptec Direct-DVD??Any help would be appreciated.
