help with sims 2

OKAY I NEED HELP WITH THE SIMS 2. EVERYTIME I TRY TO PLAY IT ,IT SAYS SOMETHING ABOUT "DIRECTX 9.0 COMPATIBLE ADAPTER".

that really tells nothing...

u need to download directX 9.0c just goto microsoft.com and search for directX... try that

If you specs are correct then you have too little video memory for the Sims 2. If there is an AGP aperture setting in your BIOS then try setting it to 64meg or higher but even then your video card is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too ancient for Sims 2.
