YuppieScum 0 Posted February 12, 2000 Hm...You've already posted this question once (http://ntgamepalace.3dfiles.com/ubb/Forum6/HTML/001263.html) but I'll answer again anyway. The deivce appears on the Microsoft W2K Hardware Compatability List, and at least one other denizen of this site has this card working... So, you can do one of the following... 1. Uninstall, and reinstall the drivers. 2. Uninstall and reinstall the card - possibly in conjunction with (1) above. 3. E-mail SMC regarding drivers 4. Post details of your machine, including driver and OS revisions, so we can try and help resolve what might be a hardware conflict. 5. Buy a better (PCI) network card. They can be had for as little as $10 now... ------------------ SuperMicro P6DBS (dual UW-SCSI) BIOS 2.2, 2*Celery 300a @ 450Mhz, 384MB PC100 RAM SCSI-A=4.3Gb+9Gb, SCSI-B=Tosh32x CD-ROM, Yamaha4416 CD-RW, Iomega ZIP100, IDE1=4.3Gb IBM EtherJet 10/100 NIC PCI + Nortel ADSL "modem" Matrox G400 DH 32Mb AGP + Quantum3D Voodoo2 SLI PCI (CL TNT1 AGP on a shelf) SoundBlaster Live PCI (not Value) Win2K build 2195 Retail (not 120-day eval) Share this post Link to post
LoRdSpawn 0 Posted February 13, 2000 yuppiescum i think the best solution is indeed buying a new card....yesterday i read the readme.txt file on my win2kcd and i saw win2k wouldnt accept this ISAcard...but isnt this strange? win2k - for networks - doesnt accept some network adapters? hmm...well im going to the shops now Share this post Link to post
