Kiyoko 0 Posted December 6, 2004 I have this weird problem with baldurs gate 2. The game installs just fine and I can run it as far as the main menu but when I click on Create Character the game simply crashes. There's no difference when trying to create a single player game or a multiplayer character and it the same when I try with just BG2 installed and when TOB is installed on top of it. I have tried running in compability mode for win2k and win98. I've got the latest patch and have tried with both the newest drivers for sound/motherboard and graphics and with slightly older versions. I've tried all kinds of settings, w/ and w/o 3D, 800*600, 1280*1024 and everything works just fine when I test the settings. I've also tried reinstalling the game. I'm using the full install to avoid all the cd-switching when playing. I would be really greatful for any ideas on how to solve this. Share this post Link to post
