[php] 0 Posted December 9, 2004 Why is there only 3 cds for the download? Is this everything? Reason I ask is that everywhere I've looked there were 4 cds.. So I was wondering why only 3 here? Thanks.. Share this post Link to post
Dapper Dan 0 Posted December 9, 2004 If it's like "9" which is the last version of Mdk I bought, you only get 3 free ISOs, and get the additional 2 CDs when you purchase. Share this post Link to post
TrakerJon 0 Posted December 13, 2004 There are actually 5 CD's but 4 & 5 are only available through a purchase or membership. There is a Russian site that has the 4th but it's a very slow connection... http://ftp.linuxcenter.mu/iso/Mandrakelinux-10.1-Official/ Share this post Link to post
zenarcher 0 Posted December 13, 2004 I got 6 disks with Mandrake 10.1 PowerPack. Many of the applications I like and use were on Disk 4, which was very frustrating with the downloaded set. I found a place that has just about every distro, including Mandrake 10.1 PowerPack available and very cheap! In fact, the 6 disk set cost me $9.99. They are all tested before shipping, individually packaged and satisfaction is guaranteed. They will even throw in a free disk of your choice with each order. Just about any distro you want is available from about $6.99 to $9.99. They also have a ton of Linux training material and courses very inexpensively, too. I'm not a salesman for them, just a very happy customer. You might check them out at: http://www.linuxonline.biz/ -zenarcher Share this post Link to post
