Ahabdelta 0 Posted December 11, 2004 This may be the inappropriate area to post this in. If so, please redirect me. I am having trouble installing Final Fantasy VII. I'm running Windows 2000 Professional Edition. When the auto-run menu comes up upon insertion of the install disc, the install option will not function. No program starts, and nothing changes. Has anyone here had similar difficulties? Thanks Share this post Link to post
Mordaki 0 Posted December 30, 2004 Im haveing an install problem also. I'm running XP home and when I click on install i get a message saying something like not running 16bit unable to run ms dos and windows applications. And it goes back to the desktop. Chradser 0 Posted January 3, 2005 I have the exact same problem with not being able to install on XP. I have written to Eidos but don't know if I should expect them to reply... Share this post Link to post
NomadSoulXXL 0 Posted January 7, 2005 Listen up people: the best way to play FF7 is to install win98, cuz if U don't U'll be having LOTS-of-problems with upside-downz, hardware acceleration, sound... etc. I mean we're talking FF7(!) here, doesn't it deserve an extra 200M of win98 !? I installed win98 just 4 this game and was never sorry I did. Instead of spending a hole day or more figuring how to run it, go 4 win98 and enjoy DA GAME. Share this post Link to post
