Bios... i have tried it on INSTANT OFF as well as 4sec delay. Mobo is a PC100 M577. Seldzar 0 Posted February 13, 2000 Turn off all unesscessary services in your administrative tools/services. This will conserve on your ram, also try defragging your hard drive. Exactly what does the blue screen say? And what is the exact model and make of your motherboard? Try resetting your bios to defaults. Have you got the latest bios update?. Are you sure that the blue screen isn't caused by some other driver when trying to shut down? Share this post Link to post
Shrink 0 Posted February 13, 2000 Is your mobo a non-intel motherboard? If so, hunt around for patches for it. Also, I have no idea what peripherals you have running, so it is very difficult to give any idea about driver problems, etc... Maybe a little more detail about your system. BTW, IMHO 64mb will be somewhat sluggish with your system. ------------------ Shrink 92% of the things we worry about don't happen - but the other 8% DO! Share this post Link to post
