AlexInc 0 Posted February 13, 2000 well, under all versions of win2k my traxdata cdr drive was recognized and worked fine, besides the troubles with cdr-software - but now under the final version of win2k my scsi-traxdata isn't available anymore... weather in the device manager nor in the explorer or registry!?! but on startup (bootsequence) it is called for a short moment (so its connected in the right way ), does anyone have a solution for this stupid bug??? (well i didn't play with tweakui and hided the drive letter ) thx in advance Alex Share this post Link to post
Maverick494 0 Posted February 14, 2000 Does Win2K show your scsi card in the device mngr? if it doesn't did you press F6 in the installation sequence to install a thrid party SCSI card....? Share this post Link to post
AlexInc 0 Posted February 14, 2000 thx for replying - yes, it does, í also have special win2k drivers for the card, provided by the manufactorer... thats not the prob, i heard a friend of mine has the same probs with the german final, the funny thing - it works under the english final of win2k!!! dont know why, must be one of the 65000 bugs, i guess... any other ideas??? usually i would edit the registry - like in win millennium, but there is not one entry for that drive, so it calls it but doesn't recognize it - very mysterious...
