Sims 2 Entry point not found

I just got a copy of sims 2 off a p2p. After fallowing the instructions that came with it, and also going out and finding a few dll that were missing it still comes up with a Entry point not found. What i was wondering is if any one has found a work around or may some way to change the hex code so it works.
