startup problem

Hello there !!!!

 

I had been using win98 ever since I bought my PC.

Lately I have started using win 2000.

My startup is bursting with crap.System tray is moving from NY to LA.

It has made my computer extremely slow.

I dont have a clue about removing them from the startup in win2000.

 

Please guide a rookie.
