I am installing windows xp pro w/ sp2 on a Asus P4P800 DLX motherboard, P4 3.0C intel, etc etc Anyway, the installation of windows go just fine. But after I install the driver for the 3 com gigabit lom.. it maintains that no internet connection is available, despite being connected to a working connection (tested on other computers to make sure) I am absolutely stuck with this because I can't think of anything to fix this... Any ideas, or even better, solutions, would be sooo appreciated! Jeremy Share this post Link to post
RonJon 0 Posted January 9, 2005 Nevermind... It ended up being my modem was storing mac addresses within the modem itself... thus couldn't establish a connection with the new comp... In the words of my white brotha Napoleon... GEEZ!!! Share this post Link to post
