shaylynree 0 Posted January 12, 2005 error: Stop: 0x00000050 (0xF6B05000,0x00000001,0xBF82ccE0,0x00000000) Someone "PLEASE HELP"..started to tighten a loose lightbulb in my lamp and "BOOM", power and pc went off then back on..problem is when my pc came back on it went to a blue error page that said, stop: 0x00000050 (0xF6B05000,0x00000001,0xBF82ccE0,0x00000000) I've tried starting in safemode and booting from the xp boot cd and does same thing. i've also went into the bios and disabled L1 and L2 cache and the write to bios setting..when i do that i can startup completely but it's soooo slow it takes hours. Any ideas or help of any kind would be greatly appreciated. :)Thanks Share this post Link to post

Sampson 0 Posted January 12, 2005 Reading stop messages can be a fruitless endeavor. Generally, after electrical surges, particularly on older machines, the hard disk takes the hit.
