jazzdrive 0 Posted January 13, 2005 All of our client computers logged into the Windows 2003 domain cannot print from IE. You go to File->Print, and the print page doesn't even come up. I've checked all the group settings and security settings, but I can't seem to find anything that is relevant. Any ideas? Printing from other applications is not a problem. Word and Excel print fine. ScinteX 0 Posted January 13, 2005 http://www.microsoft.com/resources/docum...ts_policies.asp Sounds like web-based printing- the above might help (might be my/your lucky day lol!) Share this post Link to post
jazzdrive 0 Posted January 13, 2005 No, that didn't help. Thanks anyway. Again, people can use these printers to print from other applications, just not IE. You can select print, but the next splash page doesn't come up, and it doesn't do anything. Which makes me think it might be a problem with IE group policy, but I can't seem to find anything relevant. Come to think of it, they also can't print Outlook Messages, which might provide another clue. Thanks. Share this post Link to post
American Zombie 0 Posted January 14, 2005 Found this but not sure it applies to 2003. 1. Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel. 2. Double-click System. 3. On the Environment tab, note the path for the TEMP variable in the User Variables for Name box. The default is SystemDrive:\Temp. 4. Use Windows NT Explorer to verify that the path you noted in step 3 exists. If it does not exist, create it. Share this post Link to post
