karras666 0 Posted January 17, 2005 I try to install Star Wars:Shadows of the Empire and Star Wars:Rebellion and, before starting the installation this message pops up (I have translated it from Spanish so it might be different in other languages) "c:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\AUTOEXEC.NT.The system file is not proper to execute MS-DOS and Windows applications." And then closes. The system check that the game performs is OK. I have windows xp professional installed. What can I do to install and play these games??? Please help me!!!! Wilhelmus 1 Posted January 17, 2005 First try: Click Start-> then Run. And execute "cmd", without quotes. Then into the prompt write: "copy C:\WINDOWS\REPAIR\AUTOEXEC.NT C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\AUTOEXEC.NT" without quotes.
