Wilhelmus 1 Posted January 18, 2005 Well, there are some utilities which can be used to recover lost passwords. You will do this on your own risk, none can be held responsible if something goes wrong. BACKUP your system before you do anything. Quote: Resetting a user's or administrator's password on some systems (like Windows XP) might cause data loss, especially EFS-encrypted files and saved passwords from within Internet Explorer. --- This page have links to password recovery utilities: http://www.petri.co.il/forgot_administrator_password.htm You'll need to create bootable diskette or cdrom and start the utility and follow on-screen instructions. kmzpub 0 Posted September 27, 2005 Greetings, Active@ Password Changer is a great tool that can change or recover lost pass info. This utility is tiny and awesome, recommended soft! http://www.password-changer.com/ Share this post Link to post
shassouneh 0 Posted December 7, 2005 You may also give Hiren's Boot CD a shot. It not only resets passwords, but has some cool software on it too which you can use for such tasks as partitioning and "limited" data recovery. Share this post Link to post
