how to configure usb ADI adsl modwm on suse 9.2

I'm new in Linux and i have installed Suse 9.2 and am using Huawei ADSL modem smartAX MT810 sometimes its detects there is a usb modem and sometimes not

Can someone tell me how to configure this modem
