hi for all

i work in company that contain LAN (20 computers)

there is server work by windows server 2000

the operating system of onather computers is win9x/mil/2000

and i would like to learn about DNS in practical way

that is mean, i try to make something in my DNS

not for any goal but for learning objectives.

my network not connected to enternet.

I find the best way, is to get hold of Trial versions of Windows 2000 server (you can order disks from MS) and a Trial ver of Windows 2000/XP.

 

Install Windows 2000 Server and DNS on a seperate network, a Ethernet cross over cable would do. and play about with it as much as you like!
