But I get the open GL subsection message, as if something is missing, this game plays well on my laptop xp but not on home pc. I dont want to continue on laptop due to overheat to such aheat active game. Is there a download or a way to get this application. many thanks Steamman. Share this post Link to post
Wilhelmus 1 Posted January 31, 2005 Update your graphics driver. XP's default drivers are bad for opengl. https://activision.custhelp.com/cgi-bin/activision.cfg/php/enduser/std_adp.php?p_faqid=7778 http://www.rtcw.jolt.co.uk/content/faq/rtcw_faq.html#openglsubsystem Share this post Link to post

I wouldn't say "XP's default drivers are bad for opengl" because XP doesn't include the OGL ICD's for specific video chipsets, just the generic software opengl32.dll file.
