sasfmj 0 Posted February 3, 2005 Hi my laptop has a ati radeon 9700 128mb mobilty card in it how and where do i get and install drivers for the card ? im useing redhat fedora core and have a 64bit cpu if this helps ive been to the ati site and followed what it said but no luck. i cant even use the check.sh file to find out what verson of what ever im using is im lost and need help !!!???? cheers Matthew Share this post Link to post
iamroot 0 Posted February 4, 2005 Geez. Sorry to say that ATI doesn't have GNU/Linux drivers for mobile graphic cards. You better stick with the generic driver that comes with the OS. Share this post Link to post

iamroot 0 Posted February 4, 2005 Sorry to say that you can't. The default driver that comes with the OS is not optimized for openGL. You're gonna be stuck with the 1-frame per second gameplay till ATI releases a driver for Mobility Radeon. Share this post Link to post
