iamroot 0 Posted February 7, 2005 The no. 1 must get is APT. Hassle-free installations. Share this post Link to post
Dapper Dan 0 Posted February 8, 2005 I agree with iamroot. Apt-get RPM for Fedora is the only way to install packages as far as I'm concerned. I wouldn't use Fedora without it. Share this post Link to post
iamroot 0 Posted February 8, 2005 You can even use APT for up[censored]. So you no longer need to use the lousy up2date with its slow speed and broken links. Share this post Link to post
LinuxCrusader 0 Posted February 9, 2005 I have a question! How do you install "Sunbird"? I downloaded and moved the whole folder to the /usr/share then I added if to the kicker menu redirecting the command to sunbird with its appropriate icon, but after loggin out the shorcut in the kicker menu disappeared. How do you install it then...? Share this post Link to post
