pulpfiction 0 Posted February 7, 2005 hi could someone please help me, i have had might and magic 3 for about a year and i could play it fine but then i re installed windows xp service pack 2 and upgaded my graphics card from a nvidea tnt2 16mb to an ati radeon 9200 se 128mb, i also purchased a wirless keyboard and mouse set. and now after i install the game and start it upi get the main page and when i click on new game for example it will go to new game but then go back to main page of homm3, also when i finnally get on the game the end heroes turn is continually popping up about every 5 seconds. one other thing when installing the game the list of the recommended system requirment says what my system needs, and it says my sytem fails in 2 areas, proccesor speed, and direct x both it say my sytem has failed on, however this just is not the case as my system vastly excceds the recomended requirments. i have tried reinstalling game i have tried with different keyboard and mouse, i have downloaded every patch for homm3, and quite frankly i have a headache, i hope it isn't my new graphics card that is causing the problem. i was thinking about downloading and trying a partition programme such as partition magic 8, as i could then install win 98 on a different partition and then maybe homm3 will work? my system: win xp sp2 80gb hard drive 1.5 ghz amd athlon 128mb 9200se graphics 256mb ram any help would be greatly appritiated!!!
