mal3005 0 Posted February 15, 2005 Hi, I'm a bit new to networking and would appreciate some advice on the following matter We've just had a new Windows SBS 2003 based server installed (replacing a win2k based machine), along with a full reinstall of win2k on all client machines. All the physical network connections have remained the same, and all the machines are set up the same as they were before. The only problem is that our MS Access based software package has now developed a serious delay when printing documents incorporating data that is on the server. when the data from the server is copied on to the local hard disc, printing time is around 3-5 seconds, when it is run from the server, it is generally 20-30 seconds. Any ideas what might be causing this? Cheers Mal Share this post Link to post
