No login screen, xp home

I updated with latest windows automatic updates. Now my computer stops at the welcome sceen. There is no user or password prompts. I tried to start in safe mode, same thing. Please, help asap. My wife need this computer to do her job.

When the Windows is loading, after the Windows logo and before the Welcome text, press Ctrl+Alt+Del rapidly. This should show you the good ol' Windows 2000 login prompt.

Try login from it.

 

Then try if any of these help you.
