mvandek2 0 Posted February 19, 2005 This is a simple question (without a doubt). I have a SBS2003 netwerk and need to add a member server for an SQL Server based application. I have never done this. So I install Windows 2003 Standard on the new server without Active Directory. In the "Manage your server" window I can select server roles like - file server - print server - appication server - ... - WINS server but how do I make it a member server of my existing domain? After this I guess the only thing I will have to do is adding CAL's (which I already have from my SBS2003 system). Thanks in advance, Mark Share this post Link to post
Shakedown 0 Posted February 21, 2005 If you have a domain just add it and it is now a member server. Just don't promote it to a domain controller. Share this post Link to post
