Justbill 0 Posted February 26, 2005 Anytime I've downloaded anything, its always been a single link, and whatever it was downloaded.....real simple. I went to this link http://ibiblio.org/pub/Linux/distributions/damnsmall/ and, well it doesn't just download real simple, its a bunch of other links to folders. I would like to burn this OS to a cd for a buddy of mine (he has an old, small, machine), but I don't know where or how to begin on this type of link. Can somebody educate this rookie? Thanks Justbill Share this post Link to post
BSchindler 0 Posted February 26, 2005 Hi JustBill, Sure, go there, follow the link "current". Now you are in a bigger directory. In this directory you will find "dsl-0.9.3.iso". That's what you want. Click on it and save to disk. Burn .iso image from that. Bill I Share this post Link to post
Justbill 0 Posted February 26, 2005 Thanks Bill! That worked great. I had no idea what to do with all those links and folders when I first saw that download site. So this must mean that my cd burner is burning again, well I'm happy to say it is! The only thing left is the printer, but I'll save that for another thread, but it still isn't printing. Another Satisfied Customer! :-) Thanks Again! Justbill Share this post Link to post
