Jason 0 Posted February 21, 2000 After installing my annihilator pro I recieved an error message in device manager stating "This device cannot start (Code 10)." This problem occurs regardless of whether I use creative's or nvidia's refrence drivers. As I'm writing this I'm stuck in 16 color VGA. Any help would be greatly appreciated. YuppieScum 0 Posted February 21, 2000 Search the forum. This question has been answered 4 times in the last 10 days. Set "Enable IRQ for VGA" in the BIOS. [This message has been edited by YuppieScum (edited 21 February 2000).] Share this post Link to post
Jason 0 Posted February 21, 2000 I hear that from a creative rep, unfortunately my Compaq's BIOS doesn't have that option to let me configure. I would rather not go back to Win98 (video was working fine)but I'm running out of options. Share this post Link to post
YuppieScum 0 Posted February 21, 2000 Shame you didn't mention that in your original post... Anyway, the TNT and GeForce cards must have an IRQ to work under W2K, so check with Compaq for a BIOS update... If that fails, I'll give you $20 for your card...or swap you for my G400 32Mb DH.
