Scangear Toolbox for Canon D660U not Working in XP

Each time I try to load Scangear Toolbox for my Canon scanner D660u I get the following message ...F:\Windows\System32\Autoxec.nt. The system file is not suitable for running MS Dos & Windows applications. I've loaded the twain driver for Xp but still can't get the toolbox loaded. Any ideas please. John
