YuppieScum 0 Posted February 21, 2000 Yuo can install Server over the top of Pro. You can't delete the WINNT directory because the OS is running from there. If you want to "clean install" Server, just boot the CD. ------------------ SuperMicro P6DBS (dual UW-SCSI) BIOS 2.2, 2*Celery 300a @ 450Mhz, 384MB PC100 RAM SCSI-A=4.3Gb+9Gb, SCSI-B=Tosh32x CD-ROM, Yamaha4416 CD-RW, Iomega ZIP100, IDE1=4.3Gb IBM EtherJet 10/100 NIC PCI + Nortel ADSL "modem" Matrox G400 DH 32Mb AGP + Quantum3D Voodoo2 SLI PCI (CL TNT1 AGP on a shelf) SoundBlaster Live PCI (not Value) Win2K build 2195 Retail (not 120-day eval) Share this post Link to post

Awaxx 0 Posted February 21, 2000 Are loged as administrator ???? If you are, just edit the security for WINNT folder, and add the right to erase it for administrator. Some files can only be access by the system (like swap files). You can add you the riht to edit and even ersae them (at your onwn risk). Here, there won't be any one, so add you the recusive right to erase this folder and do it ... Awx Share this post Link to post
