syedahsan 0 Posted April 29, 2005 [marquee]marquee text[/marquee] I accidentally reinstalled XP again and now have it twice on the computer. When starting up I have to select the correct partition I would really like to remove the second installation but am not sure how to and also how to locate it to remove it. Can anyone help? peterh 1 Posted April 30, 2005 Just delete the D:\Windows (assuming thats where the 2nd install is) folder and then update Boot.ini to remove the entry from menu on startup (use MSCONFIG, Check all Boot paths). Share this post Link to post
