Ltr4evar 0 Posted May 12, 2005 I've worked for many hours to get this to work and have checked every website ever and i still can't find anybody with the same problem as me. I can see all menus and movies, hear all sounds etc. But i can't see the actual game! And i can't see image thats supposed to be behind the menu either(hopefully you'll understand what i mean) I can see the game for less then half a second then i turn it on but after that its just dark. I ran it on xp on 16 bit color and 800x600 cus i heard that solved some other problems. Please i really miss this game, i used to stay upp all night playing it then i lost it and now then i bought a new copy a few years later it does'nt work im going crazy! Share this post Link to post
kkfok 0 Posted May 13, 2005 I had the same problem after using the -32biteverything options. I gave up and installed a Virtual PC 2004, then Win98SE on it...and it works finally. Share this post Link to post
Demoneyed_Kyo 0 Posted May 16, 2005 i have the same problems like you! i recently realized, that all new games suck und remembered my glorious childhoud games -> dungeon keeper 2 and wanted to play it again...... the fact is: The game worked on this computer before. (with older drivers and without any service pack and with less HDDs, but this fact doesn´t count ) That means sp2 or the new graphic driver are the meanies, that keep us from playing! DosFreak 2 Posted May 16, 2005 Probably the newer drivers. Every time I visit my parent's and try new NVIDIA drivers DK2 always crashes. Always have to revert back to the 61.77 drivers. They are using XP SP2 too. Same behavior as XP SP1. So it's not the SP, it's the drivers. Share this post Link to post
Demoneyed_Kyo 0 Posted May 17, 2005 found the solution... and its so simple... just add -32biteverything (i think its written like this, ive lost the page i got it from) after your SHORTCUT to dkii.exe it works just fine Share this post Link to post
