Battle Chess 1 and 2

Please help me. I recently brought a copy of Battle Chess 1 and 2. No matter what i do it does not seem to work. I have run it in Windows Compatibility mode (90 and 95) and it still won't work. I keep getting a ms-dos error. Please help.

Copy c:\windows\repair\autoexec.nt and config.nt to c:\windows\system32
