Ive reset my router and now i carnt connet through it! please help

Ive been using my router to connec through to xbox live, but it wasnt working properly, so i contacted the people who made my router and they said to reset the router, so i did. Its messed it up well bad, ive reinstalled the drivers and all that, but still i carnt connect through the internet on it or xbox live. Or is there anyway i can get my previous stuff back on my router.

Not sure what router you have, but there should be an ability to auto config your router. Can you access your router via your pc? What is the model?
