currie1990 0 Posted June 10, 2005 when i start up any programs or open any documents, my task bar does not show up anything to say that file is open, so to switch between files i am having to use alt+tab which is quite annoying, i think that the problem may be because of an updated driver for my graphics card i got recently, -nvidia geforce4 mx440, and as far as i am aware i have the latest driver. Can anyone suggest any thing that may help?? Cheers Sam Share this post Link to post

Wilhelmus 1 Posted June 12, 2005 1. Restart the computer. 2. As soon as the BIOS loads, begin tapping the F8 key on your keyboard. Do so until the Windows Advanced Options menu appears. (If you begin tapping the F8 key too soon, some computers display a "keyboard error" or similiar message. If this happens, restart the computer and try again.) 3. Select Safe mode and then press Enter. Share this post Link to post
