CyberGenX 0 Posted June 14, 2005 My wife and I need to upgrade video cards to play the upcoming BF2. We both have systems with 8X AGP, and both want a 256MB card. Our budget is about $120 -$150 per card. We currently have an ATI 9600 256MB and GeForce4Ti 4200 128MB. We just want something that is playable in BF2 at a decent resolution and effect settings. jmmijo 1 Posted June 14, 2005 Well, my dad has the 9600-128MB card in his box and it's very playable with just about anything he plays. Are you sure a little tweaking won't eek out a little more performance on that card ?!? I can see upgrading the GeForce 4 card however and I recommend the X700 Pro AGP version at CompUSA for $200 retail. I'm sure the card can be had for a little less in OEM form from some online vendor. Myself I didn't have any issue paying the retail price for it especially since it's a 256MB card Share this post Link to post
