ModestKilla 0 Posted June 14, 2005 I just installed Fedora Core 4 with np and when i loged in i could not get any audio so i checked the Hardware list and my card was list i also made sure that it was not muted. I also was an intergrated card that did not show up but i dont care about that because it sucked anyway. So how do I get this card to work plz help. I'm not total linux n00b i can complie stuff if i need to Thx in advance OH btw i mostly use KDE Share this post Link to post
danleff 0 Posted June 14, 2005 Try disabling onboard sound in the bios, then boot Fedora and login. What audio have you tried to test? playing a cd, midi files...? Or is it that there is no start-up sound when KDE comes up? Share this post Link to post
