The demo version works fine for me in 2K/XP/2K3.

well the after the adeline screen the game exits with an error, those typical pagefaults, etc... and i can't play it, to be more especific I have win2k pro 5.0 sp4.

I had a similar error, but this occurred when I try to bypass the cutscenes. DO NOT bypass the cutscenes in this game. Not even the intro. Once the cutscenes are done, you'll be able to play the game.
