APV_SAV 0 Posted February 27, 2000 Seldzar, well said, from what i've heard, there are still people out there think W2K is a W98 upgrade, no it is not, it is actually a NT 4.0 upgrade, if you are not familiar with NT, upgrading to NT from Win98 needs lots of adjustment and learning. Since You can't play much games under NT 4.0 why would you expect every game will work under W2K, simply it has Direct X, you are wrong, NT core is different from Win98's core. give it time, once all the hardware and software company has finished thier drivers + patches, I think W2K will be a very good business + gaming O/S but for those who don't know much about NT it will still be a pain to upgrade from win98. good luck.
