hecubus32 0 Posted August 1, 2005 OK, I have a sony vaio that is about a year old, P4 2.8, 800mhx fsb, DDR333 support etc etc. When I boot up and read the POST stuff, it says that "1GB of PC2100(266mhz) is detected". So, if the memory is all pc2700 why isnt the BIOS recognizing it as such? It carrys over into windows as well, programs like belarc advisor say its pc2100. what gives? Share this post Link to post
