Cormac 0 Posted August 1, 2005 Hi all. I wasn't sure where the best place was to put this question. Can anyone tell me is there a way to block ports in Win XPPro, without having to use a router to do it. I know that some firewalls claim to be able to block ports but they don't allow the user to do it themselves. Thanks for any help you can give me Share this post Link to post
DosFreak 2 Posted August 1, 2005 NT4/2K/XP/2003 have always had the ability to block ports. It's only recently with XP SP2 and 2003 that a basic firewall has been included in Windows. Just right-click on a network connection and go to the Advanced Tab. Share this post Link to post
