headly21 0 Posted August 9, 2005 I am running FC4 (kernel 2.6.12-1.1398_FC4). If I try to launch Sound Juicer from the Applications menu, nothing happens. If I try launching from an xterm, I get a "Segmentation fault" error. If I try launching it from an xterm as root, I get the following error: (sound-juicer:4254): GnomeUI-WARNING **: While connecting to session manager: Authentication Rejected, reason : None of the authentication protocols specified are supported and host-based authentication failed. Segmentation fault Sorry, I don't know what that means or what to do next. Thanks. Share this post Link to post
iamroot 0 Posted August 10, 2005 Try reinstalling the sound-juicer package. Share this post Link to post
headly21 0 Posted August 10, 2005 I'll try that, although I'm not yet certain where to find the original package because it came already installed with the core OS. Thanks, I'll post the results later. Share this post Link to post
