problem installing Freespace 2

I am trying to install Freespace 2 onto my computer, but I get the following message in the middle of installing from Disc 2:

At the bottom of this message, I can only click "OK." After clicking OK, installation is stopped. The CD's are legitimate. I have used them before, but never w/ XP. Does anyone know what the problem is? Any advice will be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.
