ShadOLurk 0 Posted August 22, 2005 Got myself a Gigabyte GA-K8NXP-SLI mobo with Dual Gigabit LAN ports on it. One's controlled via the nForce4 chipset the other via a Marvell controller. If I use the nVidia port, files that are transfered via it get corrupted. If I use the Marvell port everythings fine. I want to use the nVidia one because of the ActiveArmour built-in firewall. Using the latest Bios & drivers & a fresh install of XP pro SP2 Any ideas ? ShadOLurk 0 Posted August 30, 2005 I've now discovered that this is a known issue, related to the nVidia chipset drivers. It affects anyone with a nForce4 chipset, lets hope nVidia sorts it quick. Share this post Link to post
peterh 1 Posted August 30, 2005 I find it easier to configure the LAN port to a specific speed and duplex mode which is compatible with the switch/hub/router its on. For example, 100MB Full Duplex would be fine. Share this post Link to post
