sidez 0 Posted February 27, 2000 Hi, i got a problem with Adaptec 7850 scsi card and a Yamaha 4416 burner, i also got a Toshiba scsi cd on the same card, but win2k don´t find my yamaha burner just the toshiba. i have tried to switch id´s and so but no luck and upgraded the aspi drivers i´m ineed for some help =) i got a Abit BH-6 rev 1.0, Celeron 300A, 64mb ram, 6gig IDE hd.. sidez 0 Posted February 28, 2000 Hi , but my Adaptec 7850 works fine with both devices in Windows 98 and Linux, it is only in Windows 2000 that it only find my Toshiba scsi cd-rom. Share this post Link to post
YuppieScum 0 Posted February 28, 2000 Ah, now you tell me. OK, what exactly do you mean when you say the device is "not found"? Does it appear in the Device Manager? Have you assigned it a driver letter in "Disk Management"? Or is it that certain CDR s/w fails to recognise the drive? Oh, and what firmware revision does your 4416 have? Share this post Link to post
