help wanted

have installed a game but cannot get it to run..the following message appears..Play. EXE- unable to locate component MSVCR7O.dll

What is this and how do I fix it to get my sons game up and running. Hope someone can help.

MSVCR70.dll? This file is part of Microsoft C++ Runtime Library.

 

Try downloading "Visual C++ 2005 Runtime Libraries Package Beta 2":

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/detai...;DisplayLang=en

Download "vcredist_x86.exe" and install it.
