connecting router to dsl modem/router

Hi I was wondering if someone could help me with this issue.

I just bought a wireless router WR850G (motorola), i tried to hook it up to my dsl modem/router voyager 205, but it's not working.I was told it's because i 'm trying to hook up 2 routers, so I called my internet provider and asked them if i could disable the router function on the modem/router and they said the only way i could do that is by connecting to internet throught usb port. But my wireless router doesn't have a usb port for WAN.

Does anyone know what i should do to make my wireless router work on my dsl modem/router.

I have connected an Airport Wireless to a ADSL router. All I changed was the IP address of the wireless router to be on the same subnet as the the ADSL one. For example, the ADSL router will be 10.0.0.2 and the wireless router is 10.0.0.3.

The I turned off the DHCP service on the wireless router and just used the one on the ADSL router. Now all the wireless router does is 'forward' rather than 'routes' packets to the ADSL router or other devices on the LAN. Works fine.
