XianDrinker 0 Posted September 4, 2005 I have tried a goole search but to no avail. this is intresting... When i run ad-aware (full scan) about 5 mins into the scan norton pops up and says; Scan type: Auto-Protect Scan Event: Threat Found! Threat: Trojan.ByteVerify File: C:\DOCUME~1\****\LOCALS~1\Temp\AAWTMP\C490109\350A16\javainstaller\InstallerApplet.class Location: C:\DOCUME~1\*****\LOCALS~1\Temp\AAWTMP\C490109\350A16\javainstaller Computer: ATHLON64 User: Scott Garcia Action taken: Clean failed : Quarantine failed : Delete succeeded : Access denied Date found: Sunday, September 04, 2005 3:49:50 PM So off i go into safe mode and run a full scan with norton, and nothing is found... it seems the file is only created when i run ad-aware. is something i should be worried about? if so what is causing it? i would also like to point out that all defs are up to date, and i have nothing in any quarentines. American Zombie 0 Posted September 4, 2005 Using Sun's Java? If so it sounds like a virus in your java cache and clearing the cache should fix it. Share this post Link to post
